Besides the wing babes, the Prilosec parties, and the occasional press, the best part of my wing challenge was interacting with the people who liked my Ultimate Wingman Facebook page. These people (my wingtourge) inspired me to wake up every morning and teach the legend of #WINGING. One member of the community and his hilariously over-the-top, sometimes crazy comments had me cracking up all year long. That fan’s name is Dan Devereaux. Here are 20 of Dan’s most wingtastic comments on the Ultimate Wingman Facebook page.
If this were LeBron James’ blog, he’d title this post “The “Wing-cision.” (Cough, Cough). This is tough, but on December 20th I’ll be eating my 2,011th wing at Lansdowne Road Sports Bar in New York City. Press release below.
It won’t count towards my 2011 total, but I definitely want to try this: 30 Rock’s Buffalo Chicken Shake from Lunch Blog KC.
Thanks for the tip, Jake!
You betcha I was there. This past Saturday I was Food Republic‘s official wing correspondent at NYC Wingfest. Check out my recap!
It has been a while since I last stepped on the scale – 77 days to be exact – and my weight was 195 lbs with 1,164 wings under my belt. 458 wings later, on day 292 of my meaty milestone, I weigh 197 lbs. That means I have lost 14 lbs while eating 1,622 wings this year.
Weight Watchers, call me. Let’s do this!
Today’s weight: 197 lbs
Last weigh-in (August 3): 195 lbs
Weight on January 1, 2011: 211 lbs
Wing count: 1,622
Days exercised: 8
